Say hey you government officials
And all the people of all the world
I've got something I want to say to you
And don't get me misunderstood
I'm not gonna be telling you
How to live your lives
But I just want to draw your attention
For a problem for all mankind
Why can't we feed the people
When there's food enough for all
And use some of that technology
For something else than war
We started the United Nations
To solve the problems of the world
Yet 50 years later
Hungry cries can still be heard
Why dont we have one population
Why dont we have one civilisation
If we had one congregation
We would see the same revalation
Cause if we have the same flesh and blood
Then there's a firm foundation
To rid this world
Of war and starvation
